hey guys, i am installing a command start in a 04 ram, the wire is a purple with a dark green stripe, i have located it, and i have put the resistors in line with the rs to trigger the locks. my problem is if i hook up both the unlock and lock to the prpl/grn wire then none of the locks work, but if i hook up just one or the other, they work fine, now i have tried cutting the wire in half but then nothing works, if i use relays to trigger them, will this fix my problem, any help would be great. oh yeah, the rs i am using sends a negative pulse for the locks if that helps any.

  thanks k

you'll need relays. After you put the resistor in the lockwires from the remote start, your signal will not be strong enough for the locks to function properly
