Thanks Jeff, just making sure the clicking I am hearing is just the relay. this is my first install thus all the dumb questions. :)
One last quick question: I want to hook up my dome light output. do I just connect a relay like this:
https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page4.asp#ien into my tan wire from my drivers side door trigger?

Actually, just hook up the DOME LIGHT wire of the Compustar and it has onboard relays to do this already ( I think ?? ) The Dodge has a (-) activation door system so if the Compustar has a (-) output DOME LIGHT wire, just plug and play please help troubleshoot alarm - Page 2 -- posted image.

actually the dome light output on the allarm is a (-) 200mA output. so I take it I need the relay.  is that the correct relay hook up?
