Newbie!!! I am installing an audiovox remote starter for my wife.  I have already read the previous posts but her is my problem.  Coming from the remote start unit I have the following wires connected:

Starter Harness              |                    Vehicle

RED / White (Bat 1)                               Battery

Red (Bat 2)                                          Battery

Yellow (Start)                                       yellow

Blue (IGN 1)                                        pink/white

Green (IGN 2)                                     -------------

Purple (Acc)                                        -------------

-------------------                                     PURPLE / brown  (Second starter)

How do I tie in the second starter wire and to what wire. I already have the relay sitting in front of me?

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

I have the AA-RS30CS Model.

Is the PURPLE / brown wire just activated during start.

Does the yellow starter wire go to the relay?  Do I leave the green IGN 1 wire loose?  Is the resistir supposed to be grounded from relay position #87?

Just yell if I am a pain!

Thanks, Nick

The 2nd starter is only active during remote start just like the primary starter wire. The Starter wire does go to a relay  ( not sure where though ) Leave the GREEN and the PURPLE wires as they are not used for this vehicle. You have to add a relay for the 2nd starter wire as shown above and the resistor goes on pin 30 and pin 87 is to ground. When the relay is activated , pin 30 and 87 connect sending a ground signal with a 180 ohm signal to the 2nd starter wire.

Thank you, that clears a lot of things up!
