Clifford Matrix RS 3 alarm pager problem

one thing after another, stuff keeps goign wrong. now my pager to my alarm is messed up. i have the clifford matrix rs 3 alarm with the 2 way pager system. when i hit arm and disarm the car locks/unlocks and beeps etc. but the signal the pager is suppose to receive from the car is not working. it makes the beeping noise letting u know that it doesn't got a signal. and the status of the car is wrong. it permantely shows unlock on the pager even when the car is locked. i talked to a guy at an audio shop and he said the remote is bad. but i want to make sure it's not something else. these remotes are like 100 bucks. if it is the remote anyone know where i can find the remote cheaper??

It sounds like the remote is bad. It could possibly be the brain but most likely the remote/pager. Call a Clifford dealer and see about any warrranty possibilities

those remote really sux, a buddy of mind having the same problem with false indicator. btw, the paging mode might be turn off. if you decide to get a remote, get the newer version from clifford rs3.5 or viper 79xv. this can be purchase through ebay for 75 bucks.Houston,TX

do u know how to change the paging mode back on?

some places honor the warranty where the system was purchased. I think the warranty covers the two way remotes for a year. you might wanna check into it.   those remotes goin bad is actually a common problem on the rs3

hold all 4 button simultaneously they youll hear a long beep, now you enter the program mode. w/in 5 sec press the speaker icon, either on or off.Houston,TX
