I'm going to tackle a 2004 Freestar using a transponder bypass and am wondering if keysense is an issue with these cars? If not I wonder when one would get into trouble having 2 coded keys at the ignition so I can be ready for it in the future?
Thanks in advance, Brad

i have done several freestars and am confused by your question about the keys. do you mean what happens if you try to remote start the car with a key in the ign?

Yes, that and what if the car is running using the RS and then one comes along and inserts a key? Does it sense the presence of 2 keys?

Some fords will read two keys at one time, but why would you have the key in the ignition and remote start it. It is almost pointless to hook up the keysense.
