did you installed a relay b/t the camry's starter wire (BLACK/ white)? you said that it didnt crank when you hit start. i assumed that you plug in the starter wire(rs unit) to the BLACK/ white, since the unit starts up.
the starter kill relay is w/ the rs unit, not factory, so did you installed one?

the remote starter unit is a bulldog security rs 102 ( http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/pdf/RS102_112_122.pdf ).

the unit has an 18 wire harness and a 4 relay harness, there is a wire coming from one of the relays that plugs into that BLACK/ white starter wire - and i did connect it to that. i'm guessing that relay is the starter kill relay?

thanks for trying to help me, i was about to the giving up point.

it seems like you dont have a starter kill relay. i hvent install one of these bdog unit.
at the starter/crank wire of the unit, yellow/blk, test the wire while starting rs.
i am stump on the ignition input wire on the 18pin, cant figure what it is. theres not enough info for installer like other companies do provide.

thanks for helping! this is the first time i've hooked something up like this, only done cd players before.

i have one question: i hooked the wires from the rs to the ignition harness where the red arrow is pointing. there is a plugin where the yellow arrow is pointing, to the right runs to where the key goes in. the other side runs to under the hood, is it okay the i spliced in where i did?

oops, my picture didn't come out - my wires are spliced in on the side of the connector that runs under the hood. is that okay?

i can go test what you want me to now - do you just want me to check how much voltage there is in different key positions or when i press the start button on the remote?

i'll wait for your post to see exactly what you want me to test.

in the meantime, their tech support just called me back and he told me to try a test off their webpage:   http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/pdf/relayharness.htm

gonna run out there and try it real quick.
