RS-850 unit, looking for wait to start wire, is there one or is this on a bus?

2000 excursion, diesel,

I used the diagram off velocity's site to wire the door trigger GEM wakeup. All works well. Except when remote starting the alarm triggers.

Cant seem to locate my issue, can anyone help me find why its doing this?

It triggers the factory alarm, or it triggers the 850's alarm? It seems wierd that it would be the 850 alarm since you would think it would ignore a shock sensor input during the remote start process. If it is the factory alarm, did you hook up the disarm wire?

It would appear to be the shock sensor. DUH! the diesel shakes like a belly dancer when she fires up.

yeah, it was intermittent alarm 3 out of 4 times till the shock sensor was adjusted. BIG motor, big shakes.

I dig the rs-850 over the compustar 2wss-as. The whole thing is better and cheaper, cooler clicker too.

the compustar seems cheaply built compared to the rs-850, judging on appearance.
