I am attempting to install my custom head unit into my 01 Galant, but I can't get the stock one out. I've gotten the wood grain bezel off, but I can't actually pull the stock head unit out. Can someone help please?? Thanks!

Look for some screws.  I can't exactly remember where they all are but most if not all import radios don't just pull out.  Try looking up under the radio, or sides.  It's a mitsu,  they are not too hard.

The easiest thing to do is drop the AC controls. Once this is done their is a screw far back on the left side. For cosmetics I recommend front loading this radio.
Someone pass me that bottle.

There should be a screw in the rear of the radio, I think it is on the right, but like RufNUSD said you will probably have to drop the ac controls to get to it. Then just lift the radio up a little bit to get the tabs on the side out of the plastic and it should come right out.
