Thats right Rob they are sold in two for four ohms. I just bought one so I know. It is marked on the box and also the speaker itself. the model number may even reference it though it doesnt on my box. I have seen them online with a 2 or a 4 in the model number though. Unfortunately I cant tell ya how it sounds cause I just got it and have been working 12 hour days so I havent had time to build a box and install it yet.

i am going to build the box for these myself and normally i use 3/4 mdf but i am kind tight for space as this is in a regular cab s10 i was wondering would it hurt to use 1/2 since it is relatively a small box?? thanks for all the input so far it has been a great help.....

Yes, with such a small sealed box you can use 1/2" mdf, try to use a brace or 2 inside the box if you can to help keep the box sides from flexing.
