I was just reading through the post here and saw the fact that this is mostly for a convert, but lets say a sunroofed based car in your opinion there Forbidden and YStress would you choose a titanium tweeter or stick to a soft dome because of there being a bit more metal to the car and giving you a better chamber? because I'm having a dilemma also on replacing my mids and highs for a nice warm sound. and was thinking of MB's for the car.
The basic difference between an ordinary
man and a warrior is that a warrior
takes everything as a challenge, while an
ordinary man takes everything as a
blessing or a curse.

My ears, through pratical listening and analysis of multiple brands of speakers and types of tweeters still prefer a titanium dome. They can usually handle their power a little better, play off axis way better, can play to a higher frequency and well I just prefer them. I drive a turbo MR2 with t-roofs and my top end is gone without my Quart tweeters. Even in out F350, with no sunroof, it is nice to hear a smooth and clean top end over the drone of the diesel's turbo.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
