I was wondering if anybody knew whether this system has a starter kill built in.  I was thinking yes as it would maybe be part of the remote start relay bank.  But what puzzles me is there is an orange wire for "an option dei starter kill relay".   Please help.  I don't wanna have to  go back and put one in.

the 3.5 has the starter kill built in as part of the new relay pack, the orange wire is designed for ground when armed.  Green is key side of the starter and purple is motor side for the relay pack wiring.

So where do you hook up the orange wire to if it has a built in starter kill?

you can use it to add accessories, such as window modules, or additional sensors, pretty much anything you would want to, some bypass modules use the ground when armed wire, also some proximaty sensors use it so that the sensor is only being used when the alarm is on.

Another problem I have with this one is the remote start does not work.  I guess it's because I didn't hook up the WHITE/ blue wire on the main harness labeled "remote start activation input (-)"  I just don't know what it's supposed to be hooked up to.  Please help again

the WHITE/ blue wire is for an external remote start activation., you do not need that.  you need to tell us the type and year of vehicle.
