also look at the alpine type-s line of subs, they are not deep at all, and slam pretty darn hard.  you have a choice of single 4 ohm, , or dual 4 ohm.   They are 200 watts rms, and 600watts peak.  With that amp they will pound to hell.  I just did an install friday with 2  Type-S 12's in a 89 ford f-150,  running 400w rms, they were sick.

Also look at the rockford subs,  im not shure if eclipse has a good sub with a shallow mounting depth, but if theyt do, theres a choice too.

thanks alot guys, i dont mean to affend anyone, i dont know anyone. so i just like to make sure that everyone has experience to back themselves up. as long as it sounds good to the level i want ill be happy. and i would like them to be as shallow as possible. it is in a truck. i will check around for the subs, if you guys find anything around 5 inches deep let me know. thanks so far.
