DIE Module for 2002 Ford F350

The F350 never has a transponder in the key. On over 80% of the Ford trucks I see the GEM never shuts off. If you don't have factory keyless entry your locks will be "5 wire reverse polarity". If you have factory keyless try the following: Roll down drivers window. Close all doors and lock doors with remote. Wait 10 minutes. Reach in and hit unlock on the switch.    If it works, your "GEM" doesn't fall asleep and you have really easy negative trigger locks.

"On over 80% of the Ford trucks I see the GEM never shuts off" Agreed. The feature described here is known as "Interior Trim Switch Disable". A lot of times when you run into this problem, you can disable the feature if you don't feel like messing with it. Read through the owners manual for the procedure for enabling/disabling this feature. Usually consists of cycling the key on/off X amount of times, then hitting the lock/unlock switch X amount of times, etc..Not all models are programmable by the user so when you run into it this isn't always an option.
