I test a tach wire on Honda accord 1998, show 4-5volt AC when engine run. It is blue wire at 2pin test connector near the battery.
Some how after 5 minute volt meter show o volt when engine run or stop. When I start a car by key the light "require maintains" is plashing, the remote commando 5005 can’t learn this tach wire
What should I do if A tach wire is damaged ?

Well I'm not too sure about those alarms but if it has a "voltage sense" you can just program it to start from voltage. A lot of installers use voltage in the first place.

a good alternative is using one of the fuel injector wires. each fuel injector should have 2 wires to it, and there will be a same coloured wire amongst all of them....use one of the wires that is different coloured.
good luck

go with the odd coloured wire at the injectors.
