I did the first headlight with the hair dryer and it took me about 2 hours to just take it apart and i did the second in about an hour with the oven approach. Thank you to all with this.

Cool, just keep as much of that stuff of the goo off the reflectors as you can.  I have some projector headlights, and got some on the shroud that goes around the projector.  I tried using Goo Gone to get it off, and the chrome started coming, showing a gloss black finish.  At first I was upset, but then decided to strip both shrouds and it actually turned out pretty good.  If that happens to the reflectors, though, it costs a pretty penny to have them refinished.  They can't be electroplated because they're plastic, they use some sort of hot bath.  That "chrome" paint you can pick up at the store is just clear coat with aluminum flakes in it, so it's not even good for touch ups.
