I have a hifonics Gen XI zues amp and a JVC headunit with subwoofer out and 2 15in kicker XPLs. as of yesterday the system was hitting hard as hell and today the bass is not the same it's hitting but not hard like it was, and I wasn't even running it hard yesterday. is there anyway to figure out if it is the amp, radio, or speakers. The radio is not under warranty and neither is the speakers but the amp is. Thanks

Sounds like yu lost a speaker.  Are they in parallel?  Try hooking them up one at a time and see if one is gone.

Checked the ohms both are at around 3 ohms. I am not running my amp bridged I have each sub on it's own channel and the are single voice coils. they both work just not hitting hard like they were before.

Is it possible it is the caps I am using went bad. The reason I say that is that before this all started my lights never dimmed and and my alt guage never moved now the lights are dimming and the alt gauge moves a little when the bass hits?
