I JUST BOUGHT two i7 15's off ebay they are dvc so im going to run them down to 1 ohm total question is do they bang like everybody says because i bought them at the spur of the moment after reading the reviews of the l7 on carreview im going to buy an vented box for 2 of savings lot com mdf box made just for the kickers and its vented so is it going to hit im going to use an audiobahn 1500 hct amp it pused my 4 15 inch audiobahns but im takeing them out of my car and going to put into my truck ...need to know asap .......thanks

I feel those are very good speakers if powered right and in the correct enclosure that to me make a huge difference but it sounds like you are on the right track with both

what about the amp and the enclosure i know its premade just for them kickers and the amp pushes out 2000 watts at one ohm

In an older vehicle like that I would go with a completely custom enclosure maybe something ported into the vehicle to eliminate rattling but as far as your amp and subs I feel like it should really hit hard if installed properly

what would be better for more bass vented or sealed both boxes are made just for them subs ........need to know because i have had bandpass before and hated them but the vented one for the kicker looks sealed except for the vented part also the other box looks the same except its 100% sealed

I have heard that kicker subs like sealed enclosures but thats your call. You dont neccessarily need a custom enclosure to make the car not rattle ,just break out the dynamat a little. I dont really like Audiobahn products but since you already bought it I guess you'll be ok. If you can buy an amp from JL or Rockford. They are better.
