The ground wire is attached from the negative - terminal on the amp to the metal of the vehicle. Do a search on grounds for more information.

Yes the ground wire is the same material. If you buy an amp wiring kit the outer jacket might be a different color but is really the same wire as the power wire for an amp.

two questions

1) the 6 1/2 speakrs(infinti kappa perfects 3way) are 75rms and 225 max watts.would it be safe to run 125watts rms to them?

2) teh crossover settings on my amp and on my speakers. since teh speakers have a crossover how should i set teh crossover on the amp

example if it set my midrange amp for the infintys at Highpass at about 100hz and up should i do the same for the crossover on the  speakers

need help plz

are crunch amps anygood?

I would be careful if you were running 125 watts RMS to the 6.5" speakers(be careful with the gain knob on your amp). Your speaker crossovers are adjustable? If they are then you should leave your amp's crossover setting on full range or off. If your speaker's crossovers arn't adjustable then try these settings: for the crossover settings on your amp, I would set the rear channels(or what ever 2 channels you use for your 6 X 9 speakers) to full range. For the front speakers I would try setting the crossover on full range(or off) and seeing how it sounds and then trying a high pass crossover setting of around 80 to 100 hz. The high pass crossover would give you cleaner sound but you might like the full range setting better because your speakers may sound like they lack some lower midrange(60 to 120 hz or so) signals.
