Any one know how to program a key for a '01 Taurus?  I know how to add a key if you already have 2 programed, but I only have 1.  The previous owner lost one of them.  Is there any way to do it with out paying the dealer $40.

Thanks,

Tim

you have to go to dealer. You need special dealer equipment if  you only have one key. Hope this helps.

$40 BUCKS for the key thas what my local Ford dealer charges, if u have 2 keys,  69 labor plus key if u only have one. As MOBILETOYS say if is only $40 bucks that is a bargain, go  get it. Before the dealer changes their mind.  Programing Ford key ? -- posted image.
