layers of fiberglass?

Alright so i just finished the third layer of fiberglass for a custom deck kit. I was wondering how many layers should be applied when doing something like a deck.

It really depends on size and shape.  I would think that 3 would be fine for a head unit.

thank. i thought so too so i started filling and sanding and sanding and wet sanding etc. now i am waiting for primer to dry

you can always tell if its to weak by playing with it like bending it and pushing on places. So if u feel its strong enough most likly it is
dream it, build it, fiberglass it

Yep it was strong enough just finish cutting out the hole for the deck to slide in thanks for all the info guys
