If I have two sets of speakers, one with a 70-20000Hz range, the other with 90-20000Hz range, and am going to use these with a sub, what should I set the crossover points to to achieve good balanced sound without losing anything? 80 Hz? I was planning on setting the hi-pass to 12db slopes, and the low-pass to 24db. Sound good or not?

probobly 90 hz. You don't have to set it to this setting. Listen to some familiar music and set it where you like.
