I have been wondering the same thing. But you are going to pay too much at 200$ You can get them for about 120$ Shipped off ebay. I'm going to get one to see how it looks. My neighbor has two generic screens in his Cherokee, and they look awfull nice. I figure I'll give a Pyramid or Pyle screen a chance.

right now www.cardiscountstereos.com has them for $99 and I was just wondering if someone thought it was a good idea.  I want to get two for my car, but I don't want to gamble my money by buying screens that aren't going to work

i installed 2 of them in a crown vic ...1 in the dash..and one hanging in the rear window (i dont ask..i just install it). anyway..the picture wasnt just great..but to be honest..for the money I dont guess it was too bad. You have to consider that in order to get a great picture...you have to spend a great penny...bottom line. Pyramid is a `bottom of the barrel` screen...but for the money, i wouldnt complain too much. btw, the picture looks better from about 4-5ft. than it does up close. Hope this helps.
With a torch and a big enough hammer...it WILL friggin fit!!

IMO I wouldn't waste money on Pyramid, Pyle or any other cheap LCD on ebay. Most of these screens have a green tint to them and you'll never be able to get rid of it. Viewing angles are bad and overall picture quality isn't that great.  From couple feet out ya the picture looks ok ,but the whole point of adding a monitor in a car is to view it within the car. I guess $100 isn't that much but don't really except a high quality monitor.

actually, there was no green tint in the screens.  I calibrated the picture and set the brightness, contrast, and color to the best possible settings and quality picture.  I also added a video signal ampifier so that the picture would not be fuzzy, and i am very satisfied with the picture quality of the screens regardless of the cheapness.  althought, true, the viewing angle is limited, but i was only wanting the two people who travel with me to enjoy the view.  but thanks for your  2 cents

When buying an LCD, you need to make sure that it is a TFT not just an LCD or STN.  The keyword is TFT.  A regular LCD is better than an STN LCD.  The best of the 3 is the TFT LCD screen.
