I agree with Forbidden 100% RF is still making quality amps (even though they are a little pricy). My last 2 RF amps have gotten hot, but not hot enough to shutdown. A few of your main causes for overheating... clipping, impropper ohm load, impropper gain setting, and not enough room to breath. Amps get hot, it's the nature of the beast!
