Hey guys, this coming weekend i'll be putting an 850 in my bonneville.  I have the VATS chip in my key, and have a Designtech module for that.  I've gotten the wire diagrams off of here.  Anything special I need to know???  Any heads up about this alarm, or the car?

Thanks guys!

jeff

I am not familiar with the alarm but the vats bypass should be a snap.   Good luck this weekend!

(+) Type door lock system : If your system does not have alternating polarity door locks, then you need relays to convert the signal of the (-) to a (+), use this diagram.

OEM Alarm Disarm : Wire is located in the dirver's kick panel and is light green in color. Will test (-) when unlocked.

Tachomeetr Wire : This wire is PURPLE / WHITE and is located at the ignition module or a WHITE wire the instrument cluster on models with a tachometer

VATS bypass: You can either buy a module to install which will autodetect the resistor value and save you time or you can measure the chip in the key and use this diagram for a home built module.
