Hey there,
I am installing an alarm/ with command start and just have a quick question about the tach wire. Is it possible to come of the back of the tach?? I have the complete tear down/ and rebuild book for the car (98 saturn sL1) According to the book there should be a signal wire going to the tach, make sense? So to me it would be easier to tap into that wire.
Will it still work the same?
Thanks Jeff

Yes it will and will save you from running a wire out into the engine compartment. I use the tach wire on the back of the cluster all the time and it works for me
