somebody recommend a noise filter that they have had experience with that really worked? There are a couple on ebay made by BOSS. I would never buy any of their stuff, but these moght be ok. Looks really easy. Goes in line with RCA cables between head unit and amp.

by noise filter I'm guessing you mean a ground loop isolator, if you do yes they do work but they also block out a lot of your sound. You are better off trying to eliminate the ground loop than using one of these.
