Putting a starter set in a 96 Bonneville SSEi. Looking at 2 Coustic Dual Voice 12s and a Pyle 1600W Red Elite amp. I can't seem to find any real info about the Pyle amps and I hoped I could get some help here.

Thanks any Replies are greatly appreciated

I was thinking that I coulnd't get an amp under $300 with that much wattage. So I could go with the pyle and push the subs. I could always sell it after a few months and upgrade but if the pyle really can't push my subs then i'll look smaller with more quality.

i would look into the JBL BP600.1. It is 1 ohm stable so you could wire your subs in parallel for a 1 ohm load and push 600 watts RMS (300 per sub). I know the specs for the pyle amp say that it can push 180 x 2 @ 2 ohm, but with the quality of that amp I would HIGHLY doubt it. you can get the jbl amp for about 200 + shipping.
