I have 2-12" Audiopipe TS-PR12YW 4ohm dual voice coil subs.  I want to hook them up to a Punch 601s amp and bridge them.  What is the suggested way to wire these together to get the most out of them or for them to perform better.  I was looking at some wiring diagrams on Rockford's website and did not know exactly which one was what I needed.

wire the each sub in parallel, positive to positive, and negative to negative, then run the subs in a series, to get a 4 ohm load, to bridge the amp.

This is a diagram I found.  This is how you are saying to wire these.  All the + together, ran to the+ on one channel.  All the - together, ran to the - on the other channel.  Right?

#2 Diagram:

Out the two diagrams I posted, which would be better or correct?   Dia #1    or     Dia #2

I thought this would be another way to wire them.  4 ohm speakers =4ohm load

Your way happens to be identical to how I would wire them, how about that!

yea, well, to me, what forbidden says goes. There are 2 ways to do it, and get a 4 ohm load, but thats probably the safer way. Enjoy.

I will wire them with the way forbidden suggested.

The Punch 601s  is 600 W X 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS.  My subs are rated at 750 Watts Power (PMPO), 375 Watts Power (RMS).  If that rating were exact on the watts, would that mean I would be pushing 300 watts to each sub or would it be 600 watts to each.  How is the wattage divided up to the subs?

The total wattage is divided equally among the subs first and equally among the voice coils, thus each sub gets 300 watts and each coil gets 150 watts.
