ok great.....head unit install problem. - Page 2 -- posted image.....have you traced the acc. wire to the fuse boxes...you did say that the car had all new wire put in....maybe a connection issue could of become loose or came off....because you had it hot when you had your sony hu on there right...

 what happend to your sony...?

it only has one set of pre outs and i need 2, plus the faceplate doesnt come down or go upp properly anymore..typical sony crap :S

i will trace the wiring back tomorrow morning..its night time here now..thanks for your help i will get back to you in this thread as far as what happens

alright i traced the wire back and it seems to be fine, no breaks or anything

so..looks like im going to need to run an alternative ACC wire, could i just hook this up off the cigarette lighter plug or will the amps be too high and just blow the fuse ??

i also forgot to mention that the acc wire appears to be hooked up to the central locking also, which would explain why my alarm has gone haywire
