what is wrong if the coil moves quite freely?? it feels as if its deattached from the coil what could have caused this?

If the voice coil has come detached from the woofer cone (actually from the former,) the most likely cause is either overpower or improper enclosure design.  Or maybe a defective speaker from the factory.  This type of failure is rather rare, however.

Oh, and sometimes if a speaker cone moves way too freely by hand, the real problem is a seperated surround...

yea u shouldnt be able to move it very easily once its in the enclosure
