Hey anyone know if there is something im missing. Im doing a Clifford Rsx3.5 in a 2004 Nissan altima. Im using also a 555u. I have it wired up normal without using the white wire. The car cranks over but will not start. When i start the car normally, then remote start then pull out the key the car stays on. Is there a special way i should wire the 555u? Is there another immobalizer i have to bypass? If anyone can help let me know!

put the key in the ign. and then remote start the car.
does it stay running??? if so it sounds like you need to re-program the bypass or check the wires....

I also tryed putting the key in the ignition then remote starting the car but just cranks over. everything else in the alarm works like a charm. Just can't seem to get the remote start to work.

If the car stays running when after you place the remote start into run mode, then it's not anything to do with your wiring, it is the bypass module that is the problem. The starting sequence is being inhibited by the Immobilizer and if the key in the 555U isn't seated properly in the case, it will not read the key and transfer the signal to the Immobilizer barrel. Also, make sure that your ground out when running wire is properly working and is outputing a (-) signal.

I tryed using the second ignition relay setup, it worked but for some reason the starter wires off the alarm still get a constant 12vts and when i use the key and leave it on the on position, then step on the clutch the car starts. This car is kicking my ass! anyhelp would be great.
