i have the kicker resolution rs6 component set.  it comes with the r6c midrange and r25 tweeter (as seen here http://www.kicker.com/ShowPage.cfm?filename=kickres.html&menu=MIDTWEET).  my problem is, the 1-inch r25 tweeter doesn't fit in my existing factory tweeter location.  i really don't want to make a new hole for the tweeter, and i like where the factory spot is.  so, if i buy the r19 tweeter (.75 inch), and use that in my component set, will that still be okay?  or does it mess up the whole matched component setup?

by the way, i'm also using the rockford 201s to power these components.

It looks like the rs6 crossover is at 3.5K.  The r19 tweeter has a range starting at 4.5K.  The 1" tweeter you want to replace is the r25?  It has a 3.5K and up freq response.

So, no, it doesn't look like you can make this switch.

... unless you also swap out the crossover.  Build a 2-way passive Xover at about 5KHz, which should do nicely.
