so if you live on the tenth floor you don't have to go down in your boxers at two in the morning 'cause you're not sure whether or not the system is armed. Visual Theft Deterence - Page 2 -- posted image.

lol, I love the query function on my compustar. 2 way pagin is really nice. hit the query button and you have an instant status report of your ride!
I like the idea of a different colored led on the dash. mines blue and it really stands out.

Tell me what you think of this:

All 4 LED's are Bluish Green (MCD 10,400)

1. up top behind the rear view mirrow facing outward (toward the outside of course)

2. 1 by each corner of the window near the door handles (on a 2 door car)

3. 1 mounted in the "idiot light" in the top rear brake light

?????????????

I use a flasher unit from an old light, gas and water street marker. The kind with the round yellow plastic lense that they put  out where they have done street repairs.   I just removed everything from the case, added a fifty ohm series resistor so it can work at 12 volts. Since it uses a filament type incandescant bulb and flashes about twice a second, it is bright enough that I can see the flashes reflecting in the truck interior at night when I am looking out the window from about twenty feet away.  I've had it in operation for two years with the original bulb still working.
