I jsut added an MTX 4244 amp to my system to power the I believe I blew a fuse. I didn't have time to check where the fuse got blown. I now have 4ga wire from the battery to the trunk then into a fused distro block that has 8ga wire comming from it. The other amp that i have is a RF 360.2 punch. That's a total of 560watts RMS and around 1120watts MAX. Also there are two 25 amp fuses on the back of the MTX and a 40 amp fuse in theback of the RF.

What size Fuses should i use for the Distro block (it's one 4ga that splits to two 8ga with 2 fuse holders) and what fuse should i use for the fuse holder under the hood?

I believe you would need a 100amp fuse under the hood, and probly two 50 or 60 amps in the d-block. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Ya that sounds right.  100 amp under the hood.  Distro block needs 40 or 50 amp fuses for each amplifier.  Under the "basic" section there is a calculator / pie chart thing for finding amp / watts / volts conversion.  Just take your max draw and fuse it at the battery and then max draw for each  amp and fuse at the distro block.  I think when you need to round it you can round down to the next available fuse size.
