question.......what do u apply the resin to? do u lay down like fleece or suttin? and when the resign hardens, so does the fleec or what? and if u want countours do u need a frame type deal? and also, when using the MDF rings for subs. how would u go about putting them in if its a larger scale?.......good work so far though

I used fleece on these, 100% polyester fleece. Yeah, you would need some sort of frame. For large scale sub rings you would need to make a structure with dowels or small cut peices of MDF (thats what I use). I'll try and get a picture for you, I have another box I am working on.

Here are some more images, I have had a few requests. I have been busy starting the glassing of my door panel. I have also been busy bondoing the **** out of those door pods which are coming out awesome. I will take more pictures of the door panel soon, I put a small layer on it today and had to flip it over and I couldn't get a picture. I am kinda stuck, I need to buy a dremel and some more sand paper. I should be getting paid here soon. If you know where to get a cheap dremel/rotozip with small s/h fees PM me or email me. Thanks for the comments.

i have a 93 accord 2 door.  I did my kick panels the same way, but they only stuck out an inch or less.  I mounted the speaker further toward the front of the door at an upward angle.  To do that I had to cut away the door skin to make room for the speaker magnet, and I re-located the bracket that stabilized the lower window track.  I painted them the color of my car, phantom gray, and they turned out very nice.  Any questions when doing yours, just ask.

be careful when putting the resin on, mine warped a little bit from the heat the resin creates.  It just made a little more work for me in the long run.
