I have seen alot of information pertaining to Chevy Cavalier's or Pontiac Sunfire's that apparently do not have the OEM alarm, but when it comes down to looking at the vehicle, it DOES have it. In most cases the OEM alarm doesn't have a disarm wire and doesn't disarm when the ignition is powered up. The only way to disarm the system is through the OEM remote FOB control.

Here is a diagram for the vehicle if the OEM disarm DOES activate when it sees a voltage on the ignition wire.
