the sub is not stable at 2 ohm......and if i do get an amp..........its gotta be cheap.....i think.....man i dunno im pissed though, the amp is four ohms, and the sub is 4 ohm and for sum reason it blew its pisses me off, cuz my paid 1300 for a system and in a year and a half it blows....they gipped us on the set up anyways. would u say a 500/1 on that ONE sub??????? that doesnt make since if the RMS is 300 and peak is 600 and the jl 500/1 is 800 max or so.......please explain in DETAIL if u will

Theres no such thing as a un stable sub.   Your sub can be wired to 2, or 8 ohm.   That is why you blew your amp.  You had it wired to 2 ohm on an amp only stable to 4 ohm, thats where it went wrong, the install.  You shouldn't let a non authorized installer to install your equipment, thats why lots of companys don't honor waranty unless an install receipt is shown.

I said go for around a 500 wrms amp is because that way you wont over stress the amp to get the potential of the sub.

What is your price range that your willing to spend on an amp? That way its easier for us to reccomend the best amp in your price range.

You want real power for your money??  Go for a Volfenhag amp!!!  Cheap but very effective.  Much less than your 300 limit.amp for 12 inch eclipse87121dvc -- posted image.

If you really insist on spending more, you might think about a fosgate RF.  It will put you around your limit, but they work well with the Eclipse subs.  Remember to get a little higher RMS on the amp than the sub is rated at.  This will keep from overworking the amp to push the eclipse.  All you have to do is tone the gain down a bit.
