3 alpine type S in a box?

i may not know to much but if there in the same chamber and 1 blows or something it can mess up all the other speakers.  i had a lecture on that.  Its never good to do 1 chamber for all subs they should have indiviual.  IMO so its on you man.. you do what you want.  you should read the pros and cons on both boxs.  Call up the manu. of your speakers.  They should be able to tell you what you *should* do. I called up mine 2 different companies got the dimineson and all its great.  Give em a call it wont hurt.

Jay22,   it's always best to get varied opinions, but look for a consensus among them.... if you ask 10 guys about this enclosure and 9 say do it this way and one says do it that way.... i suggest you triple think going with the advice of  the odd man out... at least research it more... but 99 times out a 100 if you get a HUGE consensus among installers about how to do something, it's because they know what they are talking about.....Kevin Gerry

EXACTLY, BUILD A BOX WITH 3 SEPERATE CHAMBERS CUZ IF YOU PUT MORE THAN ONE SUB IN A BOX THAT SHARES COMMON AIRSPACE YOU WILL TEAR APART THE SUBS AS THEY WILL FIGHT EACH OTHER.  I MADE THE MISTAKE OF DOING THIS WHEN I FIRST STARTED OUT BUT I GUARANTEE I LEARNED MY LESSON.  I HAD 4 12'S ON 2 SMALL AMPS IN A SINGLE CHAMBERED BOX AND THEY BLEW APART IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS. SEPERATE CHAMBERS IS THE WAY TO GO OR AN AMP THAT CAN PUSH ALL THREE SUBS THEN YOU COULD DO A SINGLE CHAMBERED BOX, BUT WITH 2 AMPS YOU NEED EVERYTHING SEPERATED.what!?!?! you want some??
