I went to a car audio place and quoted me $220 for diamond M6 and $420 for 2 jl W6 version one and $300 for one L7. Which would you guys think is better ? I want some SQ and decent Bass. I'm thinking of running 2 diamond or 2 jl or one l7 ? They are all twelve inch in size. They also have a 10 inch M3 for 99 or 125 for 12 inch ? Which do you guys thing is a better deal out of all of them.

Actually the kicker L7 12" is $230 shipped on ebay. I have dealt with this seller before and had no problem getting warranty it took a month to get it back though. The rest of sub that I'm comparing to is from authorized dealer. The diamond have higher RMS than kicker L7 right. I've also heard that kicker l7 is better this year.

Well throw the L7 idea out the window if you want SQ. I would buy two of the Diamond M6s.

Second the advice for the L7 out the window and down the street. Go with the Diamond.

I'm selling 2 Orion H2 12.2 which are better that the M6, these are better that 12w7 subs in my opinion

Does the diamond have good spl also.

Any sub can have good SPL, it is the enclosure that will mainly infulence the output and type of bass required. 140db for you might be stinking loud as it is well into permanent hearing damage territory. For others they might need, oh my gawd you should see the chick that just walked by, sorry bout that, for others that have a system that does this, they may be insearch of 150db or more. SPL is a neat toy to play with but if you want to listen to your sound and enjoy....there she is again....your music, SPL can actually get pretty boring. Man I love summer.

Diamond's are amazing. My buddy has some in his monte carlo, and he hit a high of 152.1 DB. Mighta been a loose meter, but it is by the in the top 3 systems (loudest) I have ever heard. It had great SQ, and well... with 152, i guess u could say it has some spl... =D
