Man i been up and down these forums looking for the dimmer wire.  I need to hook up a tach-o to the dimmer wire so it dims and turns on with my lights.  I looked at the post a few down and i didnt see any dimmer (the one about remote start and alarm) anyone know where the nearest one is to the driver side and what colors it is please?!?!?

I think most hondas use a RED / black wire for illumination.  you can probably find this wire connected to one of the buttons on your dash that light up.  maybe the sunroof button would be a good option since it would be close to your gauge.  another option could be to use the illumination wire from your radio.  i dont know what color that is, but if you have an aftermarket radio, then you would have a harness and the harness would have the wires marked.

RED / BLACK is the parking light wire. The dimmer wire will be on all the buttons that have lights that dim. To test the dimmer wire, attach the DMM black lead to ground and the red lead to the target wire. Turn on the parking light wire and roll the dimmer switch up and down. The target wire will go up and down in metering according to the adjustment that you do on the switch.

The air bag wires are all makred as such and are not bundled with the dash buttons. You have nothing to worry about. Honda usually has YELLOW looming on their air bag wires.
