Try locating somewhere you can test your subs in different enclosures.  Also, see if you can find a shop that would enter your specs into a computer to get an idea on what type of sound you will get.

I know from experience the MTX subs are loud in a sealed enclosure with the right amp.  Those subs should give you pretty decent sq also in a sealed box.  Try going to a shop and testing your subs in a sealed enclosure and seeing if they would let you test one of their amps.  You want to test a good amp with about 300 rms per speaker.

Is this an Eclipse Ti10 or a Kleenex Gold Ti10?

I had one 12" HE2 with 750 watts rms going to it which was almost twice what it asks for. I hung in there real well on that amp, but it failed the accidental screwdriver through the cone test(oops). I upgraded to 2 HX2's which are getting 500w apiece and that rock. My friend has two 15" MTX 8000's in a ported box and it pisses him off that I hit louder and lower than him. I don't think he is taking into account he drives an Excursion and I drive a Discovery.

if i did get a he2 or hx2 which do u think would be better keep in mind that im on a tight budget so whatever i save will help plus my amp that will be pushing that will be 400watts rms. so will the hx2 still sound better or about the same since the amp will be pushing under what the hx2 is capable of
