Ok, if it remote started with the key in the cylinder then there is something wrong with the wiring of the 555L or the 555L was bad out of the box, it is known to happen. First thing first, unplug the 555L for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and start the truck with the key. Then ground the BLACK/ blue and try to remote start the truck. If it works then you haven't found the correct output wire from the alarm. If it doesn't work double check the wiring, if the wiring checks out then you may have a bad module but verify with 100% confidence that the wiring is correct. Where did you tag the yellow Rcode wire at? Try tagging it in the ign harness to be sure that it is the correct wire. If the alarm is pretty new and was manufactured by dei then you need to use the third ignition output as stated before for the activation input. It is on the 12 pin harness that has the brake input and hood trigger input.

First I like to begin this post by saying thanks to Profuse, Laren5, & Auex for there info. and help with the minor problems I encounter with the install of the AG5 system.

I began the day by following Auex advice and rechecking the wiring on the 555L unit. Then I followed the next step to unplug it and wait the 30 sec. etc.  To no surprise the truck did not remote start. I decided to troubleshoot all the wires that needed the 12v with the DMM. I came to the conclusion that the pink wire on the 555L was not getting a 12v during the remote start sequence. The reason this happened was because I had connected it to the ignition key side area of the wire (the immobilizer unit does not allow a 12v until the key is in the run position). This didn't allow the 555L to grab the R-code and was causing the truck not to start  via remote start. I can now say that the AG5 is working properly .............and once again Thanks to Profuse, Laren5, and Auex for the help........

Also I like to thank Ciscored for helping with the install and taking on the challange...!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Problems after first alarm install(AG-5) - Page 2 -- posted image.
