for the first time i tried wiring up my solaris in a 2001 s10 and everything seems to work correctly, except the remote start.  i put the truck in safestart mode and when i go to remote start it, nothing happens.  the fuel pump goes on and the accessories but no crank out of the starter.  here r some wires i didn't hookup:  heater relay,  interior light supply,  reverse light,  - pulse out before remote start,  and - pulse out after remote start.  could those wires cause this problem?

if so where should they connect,  if not what else is my problem? by the way it is a manual transmission

did you bypass the passlock system.  99% sure truck has it.  Usually it will still crank but it could be the problem.

if when you turn the ignition on with the key and a light on the dashboard comes up as theft or security, you have passlock and you need a module to bypass it.  Dei 555l will work.  It sounds like you already have the white second ignition hooked up, which even if you didn't truck would probably still run, check engine would be on though.
