Has anyone installed an alarm on 2005 dodge caravans?
Wiring schematic is the same as 04 except the standard knee cluster air bag.It is a little difficult to get to the ignition harness as the inner driver dash plate cannot be removed(air bag).
Has anyone found an easier way around ?

do any other cars for 05 have knee airbags? if more car makers start installing knee bolster airbags our jobs of tagging wires for alarms/remote starters is going to be a pain in the ass.

The Lexus RX 330 does. You can unbolt it and lay it on the floor though (without unplugging it).

you can do what johnmax said.  Just undo the 4 bolts (10 mm, I believe) and lay on the ground.  You might have to take off the plastic panel to the left of the knee bolster to get the airbag to lay flat on the floor.  I've done a few of these already.

04 pacfica has a knee airbag nice design airbag sandwhiched between 2 steel plates . It must be noce to have a steel plate slam into your knees. Kia did this back in mid 90's with the sportage .

so whats the theory behind sandwiching an airbag between two steel plates? becoming an amputee instead of breaking your knees? seems like a fair trade....05 caravan knee cluster airbag -- posted image.
