Ground interrupt

I am looking to momentarily  interrupt a ground wire by using a relay with a ground input. It doesn't have to have a ground input to the relay but it would make it easier.

Use a relay and connect the ground u want to disconnect to that relay's NC pin and then trigger the relay pin 85 with the ground while 86 is +12Vs.  pin 30 would be the ground u want it connected to.  that will break it as long as the relay is activated.
