but Jeff, its only got one door trigger, it catches all 4 doors

Does the alarm trigger if you remove the battery ground terminal?

Although the it's only 2 years old, factory batteries are usually only good for about four to five years. With an alarm system some will trigger with as little as 1.5V drop. This is the most likely if you have already diode isolated the BCM module.
