During installation of a brake controller for a trailer, I managed to damage something??? causing the shift lever for the transmission to lock up. I have no brake lights at all now. All fuses are intact. Access to the wiring is difficult as there is virtually no "extra" length to pull down. Where is the actual brake light switch? Could I have pulled a connector loose there? I do know that if the wiring to the switch is interrupted, the release for the transmission lever does not function. Maybe a wiring diagram would help? Thanks.

Did you check the bulbs to see if you may have blown the bulbs if the fuses are fine ??
