I've had my remote start on for about 2 years now... that this started to happin about a year ago...
The remote start works perfectly fine. Until the car is fully warmed up and shut her off... come back out a minute or two later and try the remote start again... it starts the car, sits for 3 seconds... then kills itself.   it restarts... sits for 3 seconds... then kills it self again. and thats that.
if i let her sit for a while and cool down then it's back to working normal.
Thoughts?
I thought that the car was just die'n... but it's not. the remote start is killing it.

Was anything done to the ignition system of the car like a MSD 6A module ? Sounds like a weird tach problem.

no, nothing. the only thing i can thing that i changed at that time was... for my rear marker lights i installed the 1156 LED bulbs...   they work fine, i then went and tried to install the 1157 LED's for my brake/running lights... but for some reason the only half the led clusters light up... and that actually F's up my alarm system (i'm thinking it's not pushing enough current thought the electrical system so the alarm thinks something happining)
BTW, i do not have my Tach hooked up to the alarm/remote start.

your alarm is sensing voltage since you replaced your light with led lights it's not going to be the same voltage......run a tach wire and your prob. will be fixed.

i'm not understanding what your saying...
the V is the same wether the LED's or incondecent bulbs are in... but the LED's are barly pulling any Current.    why is this causeing the problem?
and also, why is it when i install more LED bulbs (like replacing the brake/running lights) do only 1/2 the bulb works?
i've been trying to figure that out for months.
Thanks!

your car senses that you have burned out lights because they don't draw any current
