Fatmat sound dampening material

LOL, try again . . .

i ordered fat-mat about 3 months ago came in 7-10 days...loved it...went on-line about 3 weeks ago...and i cant find them anywhere...?????

I ordered from fatmat and i got screwed. They never sent it and the changed there named to nitro fitness. Which i know noticed that they were selling it under that name. I deleted all my emails from ebay and paypal cuz they coudlnt do anything blah blah.

I ordered some about 6 months ago, received it in about 7 days. I didn't pay attention as to how thin it is and had to use all 45 square feet of it on the back door of my Discovery. I'm using a deadener from www.mcmaster.com on page 3270 at the bottom. Adhesive-back damping sheets is what it's called. It's as thick as dynamat and very tough. You will need a heat gun for surfaces that aren't flat. It doesn't have a aluminum backing though. Oh yeah, it's really cheap too, like $14.62 per 12 square feet. You may also want to look into Brown Bread. It's a pretty good deadner as well.Duane...

This will work for you too... "go wo wal-mart and get a can of bed liner spray. This is a cheeper for of the line-x, Rhino liner stuff and works great. I use this stuff constantly inside every box that I build to both seal the box and stop resonations. Plus it is not that messy or greasy like the undercoating is. You can also spray it up to about a 1/4 inch thick and it wont come off." (owner/installer)
