i covered it with foil before so i can clean engine bay out...

and after i was done it worked...

then i started the car and closed hood for 10mins

and now arlarm works but sounds low, and weird noise?

did i just kill it?

check to see if you accidentally ground the (+) siren wire.

is the ground for the siren ran into the car? or is it grounded by the screw holding the siren to the car? if its grouned with the siren mount try unscrewing it and regrounding it, also was the little black wire that just goes into a loop cut? if not you can cut it which usually makes it a little louder.

Also check your ground for the alarm itself... when your ground for the brain is bad the alarm will sound about a fourth as loud.
